HY furniture Gallery in southcenter area is seeking full and part time Sales Associate to support customer service in our furniture store.
We are looking for someone with solid sales skills, who will approach customers, discuss their needs, introduce them to the variety and value of the goods and services we offer, help them select what best meets those needs and then close the sale.
Sales Associates are responsible for helping customers with financing arrangements; arranging layaways and special orders according to company policy; following up on special orders and scheduling deliveries. Sales Associates also will answer phones and customer questions, processes transactions using a computerized system, help with other store & office duties & Showroom needs. Must be flexible for changing needs, work well with others, have basic PC, good math, good customer service skills.
1 year retail sales experience is a must, and previous furniture sales or interior design is big plus. The schedule will include weekends. We offer a competitive commission plan. After a short period of time, employees may participate in our health insurance.
